The first phase of the Africa CDC headquarters project covers a total construction area of nearly 23,600 square meters, comprising two main office buildings and two laboratory buildings. These structures house administrative offices, an emergency response center, an information center, bio laboratories, and expert apartments. Upon completion, it will be the first modernized and well-equipped CDC on the African continent. This advancement will significantly enhance the speed of disease prevention, monitoring, and emergency response in Africa, strengthening the continent's public health capabilities and genuinely benefiting the people of Africa.
